MACD Committee Descriptions
There are a number of committees that help the Board meet their mandate to promote the profession within Manitoba, to disseminate information and provide support as well as ideas for how to move the profession and association forward.
Please review the following descriptions and reach out to whomever is the chair of the committee you're interested in joining. Feel free to show up to a meeting in order to be able to evaluate how you would be able to participate. Most of the meetings are held virtually these days - so it's just a case of taking an hour or two to sit in on a meeting to evaluate how valuable you would be.

Advocacy: This committee is currently not active. If anyone is interested in Advocacy we would certainly welcome a committee being struck and becoming active.
Certification: This committee is currently not active, as there is a movement towards national certification currently being developed. We are fortunate to have a couple of CDPs involved in that process. The need for this committee will be evaluated in the future. IF you are interested in certification - please check out what the Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) can do for you here.
