REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL:
IDENTIFYING TRAINING NEEDS FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS RESULTING FROM SHIFTING CLIENTS’ NEEDS DUE TO COVID-19
The Manitoba Career Development Association (MACD) is accepting proposals to conduct research that identifies the pandemic's long-term impacts on labour market attachment of Manitobans and outlines responsive training for Career Development Professionals (CDPs) that will support addressing clients’ needs resulting from COVID-19. The Province of Manitoba has contracted with MACD to conduct this research. The report should consist of research on current labour market conditions, identify current needs and gaps in supporting Manitobans to identify career direction and challenges with labour market attachment, and outline training that would benefit CDPs in supporting clients to address noted challenges.
